| Re: Eastney tonight yeah, i go anywhere along from the ferry right up past the jetty thing round the corner to the old pipe. Can't say i've ever had much worth shouting about myself, but know of decent stuff being caught there, thats just fishing though lol! I also go off hayling, inn on the beach round to the life boat station. Thinking of heading further west to selsey/pagham aswell. |

| Re: Eastney tonight yeah, the sailing club is say halfway up the harbour, if you go right down to the solent end, past where the hayling ferry stops, there is beach all the way along from the Eastney Cruising Association, there is a concrete pier/jetty type thing at the harbour mouth and you can go say 200m round the corner where at low tide there is a concree walkway which is a pipe enclosure, you can fish off this when the tide is low enough but the tide does race through here and can creep up on you. i fish anywhere along there, the pier is reasonably popular, good for mackerel when they are about, small bream always show, but have heard of bass up to double figures coming in round this bit, not that i've ever had a sniff of anything like that! lol. Maybe tonight will be a lucky night.... might play the lotto just in case!!! |
