Jacobs 16/9 and start of great weekend??

last night the club had a match anywhere between ladram bay and river sid

myself and shane and si went to the tank traps at jacobs
high tide was 9.40 fishing 7pm-11.30
a lovely surf running and bit of colour in water there had to be a bass in that

this newish sign makes me chuckle as you have to walk 50yrds before you get too it.

..so do you carry the dog to this point first..fun with a saint bernard

nothing in the last bit of daylight too pop up or flapper rigs

but as soon as darkness fell it was dog city on any bait and also distance

i also managed to get 2 schoolie bass which was nice
but too small and a tiny pout

come weigh in and supriseingly no one had insized bass, other fish caught were huss/eels and gurnard

gary won with mixed bag and a specimin dog

i managed to win a cracking rucksac in raffle ( thanks for the borrowed £2 shane

)

and great start to saturday with ireland beating australia..now to make plans for tonight ( more dogs or beer??)and see england whop georgia tommorrow
