Better late than never.. (Hamble Point)

I know it was a while ago now but on the 30th I fished Hamble point from low water to low water. All the way until high tide i fished round the corner on the edge of the sand bar as soon as the tide was high enough, all i got was small bites and a couple of schoolies, but saw a bass of about 4lb jumpin out of the water at the edge of the weed so i tried spinning but to no avail.
As the tide started to change i moved to the anti-aircraft gun and fished from the wall until i could get in front of it. I used rag and a small sliver of squid and just as i was about to leave a few small nibbles in what must have been about a foot and ahalf of water resulted in a 3lb doggie not a bad finnish.
