| It's better than watching the tortoise Got fed up this afternoon with watching the tortoise tramping round the garden looking for a way out, so took myself off for a couple of hours to Shorne Meade Fort. These recent high winds have put lots of colour in the water, so I was hopeful! Even though it was sunny, I began getting some good bites from an hour before high tide. I finished up with a small eel, a bass of 2lb 1oz and a very nice sole which tipped the scales at 1lb 10ozs. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, entirely on my own, a bit of 'me' quality time. |
