| ref rod carriers / holdalls just an enquiry as to what anglers use to transport their rods, without doing any damage to the kit, to and from the beach etc ? suggestions appreciated. had a look on flea bay, but most are for carp / freshwater. __________________ good luck and tight lines chris lifes to short for animosity.     |

| Re: ref rod carriers / holdalls I use Zziplex padded rod bags ,and carry then in an ABU 2 rod holder ,which also has plenty of room for a beach shelter and tripod on the outside .. Most of the "Big" names ,do rod bags/quivers ,pays to take a look at your local tackle stores till you find one that does the job you want it to. __________________ Mike.. | Re: ref rod carriers / holdalls electrical self amalgamateing tape is wonderfull stuff. i just take off the reels,wrap the 2 section together , wrap the 4 sections together ( 2 rods), wrap the tripod (clips r knackered, and the nut that secures one telescopic leg is missing, oh yea , i fixed that with tape too  )wrap the beachbuddy after rolling it up , carry back to car and ziptie them to the roofrack(  not a job for insulation tape) or put them inside if room.also, if i remember i can remove the tape i stuck the chemical tip lights on with and wrap the loose end of line on my multi's. insulation tape 1,000 001 uses 4 anglers and imho a lot more versatile than rod straps __________________ beer so many venues, so little time. |
