Pagham unfishable ! 01st Sept 2011

After consultation with with Jaycee it was decided that we were going to head over to Pagham to meet up with Alan and Danny was to turn up after his hot date ( you could smell his aftershave from the A27 )

Anyway to cut a short story even shorter the water looked good , the conditions were tip top but the fishing was impossible due to the masses of long stringy weed that was taking your rigs withing 30 seconds of casting

To save my record of no blanks this year i accepted Johns offer of hitting the Quay for a few hours to use up the mountain of bait we had accumulated..
Four fish , four different species - two for John and two for me in the form of a sizeable sole and schoolie and a starry pup and good sized whiting for me

all in all a salvaged night from abysmal conditions at Pagham ..
