Another nice day down in Venice!
Had some of my long time customers, Mr.Bob and Mrs. Sue, down for some Venice CATCHING.....

The bite was a little slower today and we had to be patient. Caught a limit of Reds fishing the edge of the cane. Never could find the mother load, so we just picked away at them. At about 9 we had our limit of reds and went to look for some trout.

Moved a couple miles away and began fishing a little cove I like this time of year. They were there! Not every cast, but steady. Right around lunch time they finished their limit of Trout. Nothing real big, but some nice fish with no throw backs.

I always have a nice time with Mrs. Sue and Mr. Bob and today was no different. It took us a while to get this trip in due to several weather issues in the past, but it was well worth it for them.

As has been the case, old bayside plastics under Paradise Poppers did the trick. Today the fish liked the pink diamond in the shadlyn body.

Fishing in Venice shows no sign of letting up. Pretty much all the top guides are catching fish right now.
