rod indication

what do anglers use for bite indication when night fishing with no moon or streetlights ie: a dark shoreline, bells / rod tip lights / flourescent white tape / torch ?

usually the snap glow lights and sellotape
although you will be suprised how well you can actually tell if rods are moving if not too far away even in dark

Glow sticks evertime mate! Try this, 2 cable ties and a short bit of car window washer tubing. Wont fly off during cast!

Glow sticks for me too with the Enterprise holders. Works a treat.

Is that the clip on one's with the clear tubing Rob? They do look very neat! I just went for the cheapo option.

They are mate, they're a bit 'tackle tart' but work well.

I use a Delta tip light with the holder whipped onto the tip,

My mate had those luminous clip on ones that hold the starlight but unless they were glued on it was a regular thing to see them flying seawards, he's now on the window washer tubing since it's free out any old cars lol!
My rods and stuff take a beating with all the rock hopping and climbing so i tend not to go all tarty
