Minster Beach near Sheerness Hi all, I fished the beach yesterday on the afternoon tide. Quite a lot of surface weed from 2 hours before high tide until just after high tide at 15.30. And then it all disappeared! I fished a 3 hook flapper and caught just one small flattie at the top of the tide. Three other lads there caught nowt at all! Lots of crab activity meant rebaiting frequently. On my way home as I crossed the new bridge over the Swale, I wondered if anyone has fished there? If so, is it full of snags from rubbish thrown in while the new bridge was being built? Kind regards to all.

Re: Minster Beach near Sheerness hello mate, the old bridge was well known for the bass,so i presume somewhere around the new bridges base will produce similar results

Re: Minster Beach near Sheerness Thanks for that fishypaul, I'll give it a go in the not-too-distant future. Who knows? I just might get lucky with a decent size bass.
