well went for a couple hours last night 15th aug and i only had 3 day old rag and some maccy.

but low and behold i caught my first ever sea fish (other than a single maccy )

it was a flounder according to my pics in the tide book lol but it was only 6 inches long so nothing massive but im more than happy.

second fish of the night for me was a weaver fish..... well i was told it was by another angler and looked in the book again and i have to say it did lok like the picture


anyway 2 fish for me and im chuffed

I did look out for you but it was mobbed there mate .. what time did you leave ? and what end were you at ?
did you take any pics mate as i suspect the flounder was prolly a small sole

i was to the right of you just after the hill billies, i left at 11 and looking into it abit more i believe the flounder was a sole now
