| A night at selsey Hi All, Hit selsey on saterday night, i got there for around 7.30 it was carm and warm. Even my wife joined me for the night!!!! and showed interest!! then i dropped a hint about buying a boat and it went down hill from there lol. ![]() anyway got set up, one rod with a pulley rig and a whole squid and the second rod a two hook flapper loaded with fresh rag and squid cocktails. So whanged them out and sat back with a nice cold beer. within 10 mins a couple of knocks on the rod and produced a little bream. which went back safely. after about another hour a big bang on the rod to produce a 2 and a half pound bream which was fantastic and a good size. after that i was waiting a while then my rod kicked right over reel was screaming, this was on my whole squid this has to be good.So i grabed my rod a played it for about 10 mins at this point my wife was asleep (great)lol. Anyway it ran round the mooring ropes and my line snapped i was spitting feathers and got the hump lol so woke the misses up and called it a night but the bream made it worth while and was nice to be out fishing.
