| Mousehole Harbour 7th Aug and some fish at last Well it was actually another blank for me but my old man had three decent pollack which made the basis for a cracking fish pie in the evening. All caught under a float using rag. Tight lines! __________________ 2012: None Lifetime: Codling, Grey Gurnard, Mackerel, Pollock, Pouting, Wrasse, Scad. |

| Re: Mousehole Harbour 7th Aug and some fish at last last time i was down I thought about fishing the rocks just under the 'cafe' on the Newlyn side of Mousehole? its near the 'paddling pool'? has anyone tried the 'beach' just on the west side of Newlyn? there seems to be a sort of car park just off the main rd? usually down there once a month to visit the rellies, did wonder about doing a 4hr boat trip, any suggestions? |

| Re: Mousehole Harbour 7th Aug and some fish at last Worth trying a few plugs/spinners anywhere between Newlyn and Mousehole it does throw up a few Bass or try Bell rock at the old lifeboat slip just before the caravan site. You can fish the outside rock over low water just keep an eye on the incoming tide. Try rag/squid strip and fish one in close with rag/crab for wrasse. Floatfish on an eveing high tide for mackie and gar all along that area.
