| Perranuthnoe - 6th Aug Bit late this one but have only just returned from my travels - not that there is a great deal to report. Fished the western side of Perranuthnoe off the rocks last Saturday and blanked using local limpet as well as the odd chuck with a dexter wedge. The fantastic meal I had in the Victoria in the evening with my folks more than made up for the blank. __________________ 2012: None Lifetime: Codling, Grey Gurnard, Mackerel, Pollock, Pouting, Wrasse, Scad. |

| Re: Perranuthnoe - 6th Aug Was wondering how you got on over there BP, i fish over that way regular and it is very poor this year. Most fish coming from the rough ground marks on the bottom. | Re: Perranuthnoe - 6th Aug Yeah I went as far out off the rocks towards Boat Cove (virtually underneath the bench on the cliff) and fished the bottom about 80 yrds out onto clean ground. I've never know a beach to change as much as Perran - looks different every time I see it. __________________ 2012: None Lifetime: Codling, Grey Gurnard, Mackerel, Pollock, Pouting, Wrasse, Scad. |

| Re: Perranuthnoe - 6th Aug Does seem to change all the time, must be the sand shifting in rough weather. Tried a bit of plugging round the other side of that cove but only a few small pollack so far. More fish over towards Cudden point but you have to park at Prussia cove carpark and follow the footpath next to entrance gate of the campsite that brings you out at the top of the coastpath. Only prob with that is the carpark is small and it does get very busy, last day i was over i couldnt get a space, evening tides better.
