 budliegh 31/7/11 well after gaining more brownie points and need to get out to clear a late developed hangover decided a touch of fishing was in order only bait i had were some crabs and frozen eel baggie didnt answer so it was a solo effort( later find hes been on the pop all afternoon) got to top and looked down beach and it looked good if not a tad busy with the grockles  but it was clearer down to the right so off i toddled  1 rod sandeel on popup other crab in close...ahh those crab dont look good...pop shell  they were gone badly goneso whole sandeel in close then lettuce type weed was a nucence but was fishable as started getting dark a guy just along gave me about 40 live sandeel  what a gent..so both rods live eel in close and carp rod with dexter wedge eventually baggs me a good mackeral at 14ozthen later a smaller one of 6oz guys to right had a few on feathers but all were when almost dark not a touch on the bass baits but a nice eve to get out if not a tad chilly, and hangovers gone and panfried mexican spiced mackeral for tea tommorrow  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |
