Burton Bradstock Friday 22/7/11

As Jerrytwojackets & I had some worm & crab left over from the Smutt meet, we decided to venture down to Burton Bradstock for an evening session after work Friday. High tide was around 11.30pm ish & we were set up & fishing by about 8.30. Jerry went straight onto bait fishing, while I set up one flapper rig baited with rag & set up another rod with feathers for some Mackerel. As usual the Mackies were obliging, but nothing else apart from a couple of Scad wanted to play until after dark. We'd hoped for a bass or maybe a Smoothound, but all we could get were double & triple shots of good sized pout. Couldn't even get a doggie Fished on until about 1am, then called it a night. There were a few others fishing down there, but did'nt see anything else caught apart from mackies & scad.
