 Have i got rid of Jonah at last ?? well things have been getting more than a bit desperate for me on the fishing front in the last month not that i havnt been getting out ( usually 2 - 3 sessions a week) but i thought i had developed a jonah in the new tackle wagon the last fish i caught was 22/6/11 and i picked up the car the next day ok the weather hasnt helped either, but even scratching for small stuff has failed so tonight was going to be the night, and now that the car eventually smells like a tackle wagon as well( not that i notice but the kids do  )I had 2 dozen lug to drown and it was off down the seafront, 1: because theres a chance of something small, 2: daughter was babysitting and would only be 10 mins home grab gear and race off at 8.30 on beach at 8.45 realised when setting up rods that had brought 1 bass rod and reel ( thats fine) other rod is the carp rod i use as a float/spinning rod and no fisxed spool reel. so on goes a 7ht and god it casts horrible like that dohh ( next time look ya muppet ) tide rip was huge and was having to overgun the rods with 5 oz grips even in close. weed and crabs seemed the order of the evening, then eventually as tide slackened at high, bass rod dips properly and it cant be its a bl@@dy fish !!!!!and its a fiesty schoolie  went back strongly as way undersized i was chuffed as a chuffed thing, and most importantly the jinx is broken  carried on another 1/2 hour till the weed and tide pull kept dragging me into mussel beds and snags, so called it quits but lets hope this is a good sign as boy was it getting me down before  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |
