Headlamp hell!!

Hi there. after what seems an age I have finally decided to get back into fishing. I got my princeton headlamp out and found that the batteries had leaked and corroded the battery case which now needs replacing. Does anyone know anywhere that repairs them? Please help

Knowing nothing about the case in question, is it plastic or metal? Has it distorted (metal) or melted (plastic), or are the connectors simply coated in gunk? I'm an electronic engineer by trade and can fix most things but I would need to see the issue to understand properly. A photo would be the biggest help, unless it truly is mullered but, having searched, there are no UK distributors listed on the Princeton website.

They're not too pricey on Ebay but, if you want me to look at it, let me know. You could always post it and I'll return it if I can't help.
