| Weymouth Pier and Chesil A couple of weekends ago took my daughter down to Weymouth Harbour for abit of crabbing and some mini species off the pier. Not many crabs about, but the wrasse and this tompot blemmy were biting well. ![]() and this rather impressive Ballan that i had to hand line up the side of the pier as the little rod that we took with us was bending double! ![]() Last Sunday evening took myself off to Chesil to see what was biting, took some fresh rag and squid. Had to walk way to Abbotsbury (or that what it felt like on those bloody pebbles!!) to get past all those feather chuckers! god bless um! After a couple of little bream i caught this summer visitor!..Packed in about 10pm as the pout were eating everything in sight even whole peelers that were meant for the smoothies! ![]() ![]() __________________ Cheers CC, 2012 Species - 9 |
