West Bexington (mon 03.07.11)

Fished Bexy yesterday evening until 0230 this morning.

Loads of blokes fishing when we arrived but they soon petered out when the sun started to disapear.
4 of us wandered down to the right hand side about 500 yards from the car park with bass in mind. We feathered out a load of macky for bait on the night and for future trips, tried keeping some alive in a bucket with an airator but they didnt stay alive for long (i 've read somewhere that they die once they've been handled although I'm not sure if that was the reason).

Just as the sun was setting I had a screamer on the first bass rod out as I was feathering for a live bait for the other rod, I grabbed the Infinity X and pulled into nothing! Bugger!!

About midnight my mate Dave came over to tell me that he'd lost a lump after it had made its third run, it had ran into his other line and the hooks fell out, double bugger!

That was the sum of the action apart from a pout for me on the third rod which went out as a live bait only to produce a mackeral of about 1.5lb, didnt even have the pout in its mouth, but was hooked on the same 6/0 big mouth - bizzare! lol

Yeah the macky and the pout were both impaled on the same hook!
