Absolutely zilch again!!! Fished Shoreham beach last night, bit of a rush but managed to secure some lug whist i fished, beaut of an evening, never blanked on this beach before so its a personnel downer ( do i get points for this? ) .Two other chaps fishing two rods a piece, me only one, they witnessed one nice bite and a couple of rattles, I can honestly say I saw one bite on my rod and I fished from 7.30 to midnight. I also sadly witnessed three trawlers less than 2 miles out in a row travelling west to east. Wind did pick up a little and it was Easterly, hmmmmm what over excuses can I come up with?????? ![]()

Re: Absolutely zilch again!!! think the couple of days of hot weather has meant the fish have got lazy and are hiding from the 40,0000 tonnes of weed in the sea Flat calm weather seems to mean i struggle on the open beaches - it's not just you mate - as my long awaited trip to the Bristol Channel proved !! __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting

Re: Absolutely zilch again!!! ...I just happen to know someone else with the same problem. I reckon there is some gurt big fish checking to see if the little fishies have trainers on..and not letting em into the Bristol Channel. The amount of hours I have sat catching sweet nothing ...just crazy. Tried all baits, hooks, distances. Sweet bugger all.
