| Sea Town at it's best but lacking fish Hi All, Took advantage of the still conditions to take the family to Sea Town. It must be one of the most stunning south coast settings to kayak. Managed to locate a small shoal of Bass and hook one about 1.5 lbs which I returned. Very hard to unhook with three sharp trebles. Do any of you recommend pinching of the barbs. We found more fish high on the surface but they were totally uninterested with our lures. If only I could have caught some live shrimp with my new shrimp net. There were thirty or forty beach fishermen however the sea was devoid of mackerel which seamed strange. ![]() ![]() Sam Wife on the Tarpon ![]() When the sea blends with the sky ![]() ![]() Golden cap. The highest point in Dorset ![]() Cheers. Sam. |
