| Personal best Bass Hi All, It was his first time in my new Tarpon 100. We gave the feathers a go but after half an hour without a fish we switched to trolling plugs over the kelp. I was using a rapala jointed fire tiger which will dive the 10 foot. When my rod banged and real began clicking, I have learnt not to get over-excited because of snags. However a few thumps told me I was into a fish. This is the first time I have been pulled along by a fish ![]() . Follow a good scrap I finally landed a beautiful Bass weighing in at 6lbs. I gave my son my lure to use and he did loose a schoolie but that was it. Very happy day for me. ![]() ![]() .Sam. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
