| Southsea today What a day,glorious sunshine ,light north westerly breeze.Sat in my beach buddy sheltered from the breeze i could have been in the Bahamas (well almost) The troube was i had drawn the zone of death,zone E between southsea pier and the castle,a place you would never fish in a hundred years. I think all forty anglers in the zone must have tried every method in the book ,i fished close in,far out with a slider,big bait small bait etc all to no avail.I did hear of one flounder coming out further down . I never went to the weigh in but Bill did and reported about 10-15 fish weighed in all being Plaice and flounders,from what i heard most of these came from the St Georges rd area although i cant confirm the location or number for certain. I may have caught nothing but it was still a good day out ,meeting anglers and chatting about methods ,new marks and aranging sessions and at the end of the day surely thats what fishing is all about. Mind you i m going to win the bloody thing next year      |

| Re: Southsea today Yeh I blanked Ben,My first match and probably shouldnt have,The 2 pegs next to me on the left both caught then the one on the right of me and me in the middle blanked,Its a shame me and Gully couldnt have swapped as he would have had a good chance on my peg as i was to worried about ruining my neighbours fishing with my random direction distance casting so i fished real close in and straghtish lol Gully i did speak to Audi about magazine lane but i think its been forgotton so give Brett a reminder Ben and we will all give it a go soon.  __________________ Bill |
