Re: Southsea today

Gully,

I've fished Magazine Lane on 5 or 6 occassions and had really good days. It's as snaggy as hell though(its nickname is Snaggy Alley). Best mark, and least snag trapped is the 3rd lampost along the tarmac path from Marchwood Yacht Club. Park on the right hand side of the road where the row of cottages start and don't attempt to drive past the bridge to the car park unless you have a FWD vehicle!!

Get out to about 60 metres and you'll find deep water and snag free fishing. Wind in fast and keep your rigs high in the water to avoid a lot of tackle loss. Rotten bottoms are a must. Night time is great.

Re: Southsea today

Hard luck boys, I'm going to have to give this Eastney area a go as round my way is still rubbish.

The fish are returning, I can feel it in my water.

Re: Southsea today

Not a bad thing Audi,i hate fishing sundays as its usually to busy.
I find your a lot better picking your tides and getting out midweek or evening.
