day off Well day off and bored so decided to have a little session on the beach behind the camp site. Weather not too bad when I set up but got progressively worse as the night went on so after 4/5 hours I decided enough is enough as was soaked to the skin and cold. Tho I did catch my first thornback even if it was only 8 inches across. [IMG] [/IMG]And a couple more species to go along with [IMG] [/IMG][IMG] [/IMG]so all in all not a bad night fishing tomorrow night with Vicfisher __________________ http://www.ivejustgonefishing.com

Re: day off What was that middle one? Is that a croaker, or something I'm not familiar with that you guys have over there that we don't see here in the States? Either way though, a pretty good session! __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner

Re: day off It looks like a pouting. Not very tasty & not much of a sport fish. Can be a good blank saver. Sweet little thorny there. __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:>

Re: day off I've never seen any of those species, but I'm on the opposite side of the Atlantic and a lot farther south. __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner
