grabbed a few hours locally

well last night the kids were being good so i allowed daughter to babysit so as i could join rich for a few hours on budliegh

plan was get some mackeral for the freezers and then fish crab fr bass /hounds??

first cast on popup and mackeral, get in this will be good

well eeeer no it wasnt, there were lots of small fish there but they werent having it, and floated baits, pop ups and feathers all failed to get anymore

so onto bottom fishing, 1 rod crab 1 rod 2 hook size4 ( scratching bstard ) for possible bream??

scratching rod = 1 poxy rig ruining eel

crab rod i good run and no fish

Rich crab and 4/0= 1 pout

not a great night fishwisee but a good night all the same, and plans made for the weekend

Shame about the fish ,but a pleasant evening on the beach all the same .....
