Seaford - Billytattoo & Vic

Met up with Bill last night at Seaford beach, one of his stopovers. Had a fantastic night in excellent company, the man's a legend.

He says he's gonna get around to writing up the report (and others)at some stage when he can get wi-fi.

Don't want to spoil his report but he did get two firsts and a nice PB (well I suppose they're both PB's).

For myself, I had a couple of schoolies, one dog, some pout and (I don't believe it) three bloody whiting! Have to say though, that they were keepers and will be lunched today.

Going to meet up with him either today or tomorrow before he moves on, although not fishing as he's resting after hurting his foot last night.

Yeah, it was great to meet the fella. Going down to see him tomorrow before he sets off to his next port of call. Anna - my missus, is even baking him a cake as we speak.

Would you believe, he stepped on a pebble and hurt his heel!!

Tell the missus it best be a diet cake otherwise by the time he hits chesil he won't be able to get out the campervan

I'm afraid diet isn't in the dictionary of the beloved cake baking FPO

Look forward to meeting up if you come down mate (cake would be obligatory I'm afraid, so better get your preference in before you visit) of course you might need beer to accompany it -she does do a nice chocolate beer cake.

Im not a fan of all things sweet ( as most woman will tell you ) but am quite partial now and again to a simple sultana sponge .
Once the marathon is over im sure we can arrange a meet with us two coming in either direction for a fish and a bit of a social

Will give the old git a text and see how his foot is lol
