back to the beach i went, er, back to t'other day

back at lee on solent with hard back crabs/rag/lug/and squid.

pretty much the same as last time weather wise but the wind had come around to light southwesterlies.
another pleasant peaceful ( for the most part) night,
ashley and hartley joined me.
high tide was for about 03.30. the experience was marred by a bunch of c*cks who arrived shortly after us to fish, bringing an armchair and feck knows what else down to the beach leaving most of it strewn about the place when they left after setting fire to the arm chair

i saw 3 bites all night missed 1, and caught a couple of doggies one on ashleys rod , he had just 2 casts all night then buggered orf back to the car.
hartley blanked, but learned a little bout fishing in weedy conditions,

saw 2 other groups of anglers along the beach the 1st t'other side of the arcade and another light down at monks hill,
hope they did better than us, we quit @ 4am sun up

the idiot over at Monk was me mate
I saw the fire from where i was sat but assumed the cops would have came over as i saw them twice !
Tried the spit for an hour then on the bank till 4 am without a single bite .
tried frozen peeler,hardbacks,mackerel,razorclam and sandeel .
Flat as a witches tit but atleast it was warm all night ..
there were 2 ballbags on the spit when i arrived sat on fold up chairs - both fishing a single rod and fixed spool - not sure if it was the same ones ..
