| Found fish with left over bait Finished work early Monday, so having a load of Ragworm left over from the weekend decided on an afternoon session in the solent.Photo of the beach for those that want to know where I went ![]() Flapper rigs with size 1 hooks and the worm went out, things were quiet for the first hour then the bites started, school bass coming in all around the pound, pound and a half. Though I did manage this one that went 2.5lb and put up a good fight. ![]() The bites continued till high water when it went quiet as the tide turned they started again, right up to the point I run out of bait. I ended up with 9 Bass 5 small hounds and a small Flounder, still no sign of my target Bream though. But a pleasant few hours, and it was nice to see the rods move constantly. All fish were returned alive And here are the venue photos lol. ![]() ![]() __________________ 2011 species: 25 |
