 Magic moment with the misses No this is not a story from the bedroom, it is a fishing moment. I decided to buy a second kayak so I could get the family out on the water. We took a trip to Lyme Regis yesterday evening. First paddle resulted in plenty of mackerel and two Pollock for my son. On the second paddle with the wife I decided to troll my new maria chase lures over the rocks and kelp around Monmouth beach. I hooked one Garfish before we decided to head back. As we approached the beach the misses shouted for help. I turned to see her holding on to a bouncing rod. After giving instructions on how to play a fish she landed a 2lb Bass.  What a result even though I did get some stick about being beaten by a novice. Now she's totally hooked and cannot wait to go out again. Sam.    |
