| evening dog fest had a pleasant couple of hours on the arm this evening, i had in mind perhaps a bass or two or maybe a smut it wasnt to be , just couldn't get through the dogs, they took every bait put before them, last cast i piled a few extra worms on ,its always better then chucking them away and was rewarded with a bit of a surprise, a codling of around a pound,  he swam off strongly when put back,a nice way to finish     |

Gotta love that last cast bait mountain stuffed onto your hook, which most of the time means nothing more than having to take MORE bait off your hook before packing down!
