Brixham is devoid of fish

It's official. There are no fish in Brixham at present. I have been four times in the last two weeks to the Breakwater and today I tried (on Graham the tackle man's advice) the rocks by Shoalstone Pool. I have blanked every time.
I admit I am a novice and have a lot to learn about this game, but it's got to be better than that......hasn't it. Roll on the summer, at least it's pleasant to stand by the sea for hours on end for no apparent reason!

Has anyone else caught anything of note lately, specifically in the South west?

Cheers, Darren

Only two types of people are guaranteed to lie in this world.......weathermen and politicians!

I blanked again at Oddicombe Monday evening. Sure is quiet at the moment but at least I got to try out the supermag's (very cool reels!!).

Re: Brixham is devoid of fish

Ive had a bit of a rest for a couple of weeks, I heard all you lot blanking so I decorated the lounge .......twice !!!!...instead of freezing my ass off, and I aint joking. "she didnt like the first colour"
Just starting back at work tonight 00.00-08.00 so wont be out until the shifts get more fishing friendly. I like the 20.00-04.00am so early Bass fishing will be on the cards at the break water.
See ya all soon guys.

Re: Brixham is devoid of fish

Great guys, you've really cheered me up!! No, honestly, I thought I was just a numpty, new to the sport who couldn't catch a cold, but obviously I'm not the only one!! One day I'll put a post on here with a picture of a fish to be proud of. I hope you all have the same luck sooner rather than later.

Darren

Re: Brixham is devoid of fish

I bet you catch 100 fish every trip but you don't want to post about it on here and depress us mere mortals ;)
