day one of fishing marathon

Day one.......Prince of Wales Pier/Dover

Well arrived in Folkestone yesterday where I will be based for three days. Spent the day double checking all equipment,Food etc then spent the evening chilling out before the off.
Got to Dover Prince of Wales Pier for 08.00 to find a howling wind making it very difficult to cast and detect and sort of bite but stayed until 5 oclock during which time I did manage to catch 3 not so bad sized whiteing. Did get a huge knock and a pull down struck into it and felt a good weight only to lose it, giving reason for much unprintable language. During the course of the day more fishermen arrived giving much support for the RNLI.
I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the guests at the Burstn Hotel for their much appreciated donations last night.
Fishing Folkestone Pier tomorrow so am hopeing weather better,will catch you all(EXCUSE THE PUN) tomorrow night.
