| east beach, west bay fished last night with hartley, trying to find somewhere to get out of the wind n waves, i was expecting a lot of weed problems but it was quite a pleasant if uneventful session. fished from 1800-0330. wind was westerlie , water was well coloured with high tide for about midnight, a neap. broken cloud overhead and the showers missed us. baitwise we had black lug , sandeel, bluey, squid and crab. i caught a pout early but then bites dryed up till about 23.00 when a few random doggies turned up for me followed by a strap conger, really just a bootlace   a few more doggies over the ebb and hartley caught a last cast pout to avoid a blank __________________ beer so many venues, so little time.     |
