 first decent smut Just started fishing again after many absent years. Took 11 year old daughter with me to try to get her intrested in the sport. Tried LEE ON THE SOLENT sat night started at 9pm and fished to 1am. Fishing was steady straight from the off and was soon landing dogfish on worm followed by several small thornback ray. Switched to crab at 11pm and landed a smut and estimate size as nearing the double figure mark. Finished the night with 5 L S D,3 thornback rays and 1 reasonable common smoothound. | Re: first decent smut Good on you SS. It is great to get the kids involved. I have more chance of getting my 10 year old Daughter out than my 13 year old Son. Unless it has a connection to a TV or monitor he has no interest.
