| Long session, but have Fish! Secured some Fresh Black pumped Friday night, for Saturday Brighton Beach session, Gaz dead keen on fishing his favourite spot at Brighton, had some whacking rod bending bites, but all three of us couldn't force a connection changed hook sizes etc, didn't make a difference. As the tide crept in Gaz announced session over, no point in carrying on nothing ever happens at this point of the tide. I looked down at all the fresh black, suggested a go out in the Boat, but Gaz who suffers with sea sickness declined and Alex had to take the little one to a Procession. Billy no mates wasn't deturbed, I raced back home and managed to get out in the boat by about 12.00 with a couple of hours before high tide, decided on drift fishing and was straight into my first decent sized Dab, tea secured, a happy man, minutes later a plaice arrived, Something was telling me it was going to be a bumper session! How wrong, . as if somebody had switched the Fish off, drift after drift produced nothing else, with all this lug I decided to sit it out to no avail.Put some feathers on to release the boredom and caught mackeral, so fish secured for all the family tired and weary got back to mooring around 6oclock, having started the day 0500hrs on the beach! ![]() |
