well this was the wednesday league again

really wasnt sure how we would cope as we have been hit by big S/E and East winds for last few days, not great
daughter was happy to babysit so i goyt away earlier than expected and there for 7.50 with 20 mins to high

and so it was only 4 of us ventured out , amazingly the surf and weed was fishable(just)

fish were however reluctant to bite and i registered a total blank( not unusual in a comp ) but first for a few weeks
others had dogs. schoolies and baby huss

but the fish of the night was Carl with a PB 6lb 3 smoothound
( as you can imagine after that fish i was 3/0 and crab all the way=blank )

that proved to be the winning fish as well

a good night, and sods law the winds dropped totally tonight
i may venture out again tommorrow as still have 8 or 9 crabs with a death wish

Good effort to the 4. Sounds like hard work, but a good fish for Carl is hopeful. Well done mate.
