Day2 at Dover

After the species I missed last time, only today we had to put up with a cold easterly wind , which on the POW is straight in yer face

Got there at 8.30 and the favoured position at the end of the pier was empty so being gentlemen we jumped into it ;D it appears that the dredger had been moored up there all night and only moved when we arrived.

I only fished the dabbling rods down the wall as I didn't need a Whiting but needed the Gobies, first out was this:
Rock Goby


Then this:
Black Goby


Then one I forgot to photograph last time:
Tompot Blenny


And finally this:
Ballen Wrasse


My brothers had Pout ,Whiting , another butter fish and the Goby I was really after so I will have to have another day there to try and catch it.

We could see all the tinsel tossers on the Admiralty , shoulder to shoulder looked like a snaggers paradise, so the must be some mackeral about although we didn't see any inside the harbour

Looks like me and Chesil Chucker will need to get down to Weymouth Stone Pier soon to get some of those mini species to keep us in contention for the species hunt.
