| Pompey harbour this afty Only a short report. Launched my kayak from the end of my road today and made the short paddle under the motorway bridge and out into pompey harbour. The trip was more to test my new anchoring system out and get back into the swing of it than a serious session but i took a couple of rods and some worms anyway  Anchored up just to the side of he main channel and it was like a motorway of boats going out from the various marinas. Anyway to the fishing, rigs were simple running ledgers with flurocarbon hook lengths, bait was rag and lug and bites cames from the off. Only stayed out 2 hours but managed 4 undersize Bass which were good fun on the light gear.  __________________ One day i will post a catch report again.     |
