Gravesend 22-04-11

Well i went down to Gravesend today to wet a line and see if I could get a bass. I decided to walk along the bank, and fish about 500 yards from the sea school, towards shorne. The weather was absolutly beautiful.



High water was at 16.05 and i arrived at 12.30. I was fishing 2 rods, 1 with a 2 hook flapper with size 2`s and the other rod had a 1/0 pennel on a running ledger with whole peeler crab on



I managed to hook up with a large eel and a large flounder, both on the peeler crab pennel. Decided to call it a day at 17.30 to go home and nurse my sunburnt shoulders.



The bloke who was fishing up the river from me was using maddies and managed 5 decent flounder but I was targeting bass and will be in the future so gonna stick with the crabs for this time of year.
