18 days off!

Hi guys the fact that I've got 18 days off is irrelivant but I get a buzz out of so many blokes reading it and thinking "you lucky $%d" lol

I fancy a few trips down to charmouth, seatown and branscombe over the next couple of weeks and was wondering if any of you who fish them could give me some tips?

Re: 18 days off!

I only work 6 months of the year...

Just have to spend the other 6 months stuck onboard a ship, might as well be a prison!

Have a good one.

Re: 18 days off!

ok where to start
things are sporadic at moment nic no real good reports
but as an advise list her goes

charmouth
tides are dropping off which i prefer
for a ray best we find is left over the river
if fishing into dark ( best) make sure you get to beachside carpark ( £4 all day) as others get shut
sandeel is the bait on long pennels

you can fish anypart of beach, but after the first landslip usually best

if fishing tide up anything over a 3.2 or 3 you will be tucked up in the shingly areas you can see
above that is dangerous as will be right up to the clifs
other fish there are dogs, out and bass
over high you can fish the platform from your car
, drop a big bait in close for a bass, or possibly crab for smoothie

to the right of the platform/prom, there are rock fingers going out, same species but if you lose gear shift 10 feet either way

branscombe
can fish any tide, vcentral beach cleanest either end from both sets beach huts is rocky as

expect most species, hounds must be here soon,. a few yet small huss been comeing as well along with mackeral

seaton
free parking by beach after 6

all beach from river mouth to huts is clean, over low try for a hound

mackeral
try for a ray where the huts start( i havnt had but heard of a few)
further past the huts and you get to seaton hole
its snaggy and aparently some good wrasse
