Chesil Chucker is on a distinguished road
The Mackerel are in!

Chesil on Sunday Evening

I had heard rumours that the Mackerel were being caught off the beach, so I thought i'd chuck a few feathers on Sunday evening.

I arrived at Checkers at about 5:30pm and walked over to see that the beach already pretty full with people feathering.

Nobody seemed to be catching so i set up both my rods and fished the bottom with rag and mackerel cocktails and some left over frozen peeler in the hope of an early Bass!

Not even a twitch on either rod when a chap up the beach hauled in some Mackerel so I quickly changed to feathers and caught these little beauties.

They were at good distance and well down deep, but great fun none the less.

I couldn't resist one photo of another amazing Chesil sunset!

Cheers
Chesil Chucker

Well done partner and some great pictures as well.

It seems you are doing all the catching at the moment, I will have to get my skates on.
