Chesil plaice

Went to Chesil yesterday with my brother for a go at the plaice. We both had one apiece, first cast, then it went quiet for the next three hours. Then I had another, followed by a double shot of a plaice and a flounder! Brother has another plaice and a small flounder also. I ended up with four sizeable plaice. Brother had two. Great to actually catch the target species! Finished the evening with a few small pin whiting. All in all, a great day.

Re: Chesil plaice

Where did you go on Chesil?
My last two trips to West Bexington produced nothing.

Hi PP. We were about 250yds to the right of Bexington carpark. The amount of rods on the beach, anybody would have thought the mackerel were in!
