time had come to hunt for some more plaice . stooped off on way to dig some fresh rag at langstone . got to groyne 30 around 9am . bait was lug , rag and crab . to be fished on a pully wishbone and 2 hook loop . both at range . sun was out , water was flat calm and clear . you could not ask for a better day . my only concern was were we just had some big tides . all the washed up weed and debury washed up in the harbours had been washed out of the harbours and was all over the place . i knew this would cause a few problems at high tide , peak plaice time . abot 10am after driving all over hayling , jaycee turned up . was nice spending the day with you . any way about midday had a small flounder . then the tide started to move along with all the bloody s*** on the surface . for the next 2 hours , struggled to fish through it . as the tide started to ease had another flounder , was a nice one aswell 39cm , that was it till i packed up at 3.30pm . no plaice , but think the weed and all that s*** put pay to that as could not hold bottom . still roll tommorow night :-*

Well done mate, shame the plaice didnt show up but at least ya didn`t blank eh?
