change of plans all round

sorry late report due to kids resident on pc

saturday night rich, myself and shane were planning on heading to channel, as was looking at a biggish southerly wind in eve but major roadworks on m5 meant was going to take ages ( in end due to weather they were delayed till last night)

so we though s#d it and just went rodney bay hunting flounder and bass

well we got down there and it was blowing a hooley, but there was some shelter from the cliffs, but after an hour of not being able to hold bottom in surf( only had light bass rods) baggie had managed 1 small flounder from distance we moved up to the rocks

where the wind and waves battered us even more, shane managed a small schoolie and myseld a small flounder, until we decided enough was enough and not unsurpriseingly we found the pub where baggie hustled us both at the pool

a good night and for once all caught

tommorrow we are heading up the channel !!!

Haven't made the pub on either occasion - so you are doing better dow there.
