ESAA match Budliegh 5/1/11

as posted last night was the start of the monthly league

10 ventured out on a gloomy but mild eve, includeing a new junior and lady member

water was like chocolate after recent SW swell there was a bit of a swell still running and a fair dump in close, and i spent a fair amount of time trying to help the new junior out to stop him getting burried in the shingle so often

the fish were there but all small
but i managed 3 species for the hunt , pout/whiteing and 5 bearded rockling, and 1 for the comp with a just in size pout. and i mean just




weigh in was in the pub
and the eventual winner was SI with 3 whiteing and 2 pout
3 others weighed in 1 pout or whiteing each

a good eve, mild, rain held off mostly
a good start to the year

next month will be queens drive exmouth

just read this post again, how can you have a the weigh in, in a pub, what happens to the fish ?
