hubbys going out at the weekend with my brother. anyone know whats coming out there??
im going shopping with my sister-in-law somehow a warm shopping mall seems referable to freezing my bits off on a beach

If your on about Lepe round my way its fishing ok from what i have been told by my dad. But the weed can get bad there sometime.

west quay shopping center is probably a better option than any hampshire beach in this weather
Not sure but i would expect whiting and pout to be about plus maybe a flounder further up .

infact town quay might be a better option than lepe for bass,odd flattie plus millions of whiting

If it's a daytime session round our neck of the woods it's only really flounder worth targetting now. Hythe or Weston should give you a chance but you're probably stand a better chance anywhere further up the Itchen. Haven't heard any reports from Lepe in the daytime but it'll be flatties there too

If they don't fancy flounders they should just get drunk and eat bratwursts at the German market outside West Quay while you shop!

I'd scrap what I said about further up river though, had the first session with a mate up river since the arctic weather yesterday and both blanked. We'd both had plenty of flounder from the same mark before the freeze so maybe they've moved further down onto the beaches now.

they did calshot/lepe and got a big fat 0 not a thing. so talked us ladies into them having another day fishing, (so us ladies hit the shops again lol) and they went near a castle, hurst castle??? near a load of military stuff. anyway yet another day of nothing. so the fishings being put on hold till the new year now.
only thing he did manage to catch was my brothers cold !!!
