After flounder 26/11/10

I fished the rising tide down the river on Friday morning after a few flounders. Fished two spinning rods, 10lb line with a single hook running ledger on both. I use a 1oz bullet weight so it rolls along in the tide to tempt the flatties, yellow beads on one and red on the other.

It was still very shallow when I started and very cold. After about 45 minutes I got my first bite, which I left for a couple of minutes. Felt he was on there and it resulted in the first flounder of about 1lb.



After he was photographed, unhooked and returned the pattern repeated and I had number two.



A fish of about the same size. I didn't realise until I looked back at the photos that one is a righty and one is a lefty! I fished on until high but that was it for the flatties, only a small schoolie adding to the tally. Yellow beads 2 red beads 0 for the record.

Well done Rob , interesting to note the 'pair' of fish mate . i only use yellow or lumi beads too , tried red but wasnt impressed ..
