 New member Hi all, I would firstly like to say how much I enjoy reading your posts. Thank you to all of you who make the effort to write catch reports and take pictures. I will try to contribute as well. I spent most of the summer spinning for Bass. I have to confess that I now use a kayak for the simple reason that I never caught much, fishing on the beach. Nine was my tally this year with four keepers which was great. Hope to do a few night sessions at West Bexington throughout the winter. Have been once and caught a dozon small whiting and four huge dogfish. One qustion i was going to ask was, how important is a high tide on chesil. Do the cod still show up on low tide. I may give it a go next sunday but the tide will be low. Regards Sam     |

| Re: New member Often found fish at Abotsbury 2 hrs either side of low water. Tide can be quite fierce on the early flood give it a bash with the hermit crabs |
