 eastokes saturday 20th nov well what can i say despite fishing all night thursday night with scottish and mental and billy tattoo wanted to have another good in search of the sacred cod so turned up around 530pm set up the tent,rod stand and rods (its all in the prep)  started off with a pully pennel on both rods one with blacks ,musscels and squid the other with mackie on to have a play with the whiting till the cod come along cast them both out round 120 yards and sat back with a coffee and a fag, half hour passed and not even a bit not even from the whiting  wondering what was going on i went to grab the rod with the mackie on it to change the bait when bang a nice hit wiated a min for it to go again and it did struck in to it and landed a nice size whiting arond a lb and half so the blank is out the window thats a big weight lifted  re baited and back out she went and again bang bang bang in came the whiting all night i know i was catching but  but then at 8.30 i had a lovley cod best i ever have shame it came with chips for the chippy over the road  landed a nice sized doggy at around 12.30 and all night whiting packed up around 5 am weather was still the same over cast with no wind so all in all 22 whiting one doggy a good night once again and as it stands i got to get a bigger frezzer __________________ fish 2011:whiting,dab,rockling,bass,pout,smoth hound,pollock,blackbream,place,doggy,bull huss,congar,silver eel,scad,mackrel,poor cod,     |
